Blue bed room and white sheet set, what color Comforter?
I have a blue painted room, little darker than Sky blue. (btw navy blue and sky blue i should say, more towards skyblue than navy blue). I have a very nice sheetset thats totally white. I am wondering what color comforter set I should go with? Originally I thought I should buy Navy blue to contrast nicely with White sheetset, but I am afraid that it might not have that good contrast with room. But I might be wrong…
Also my bed frame is lighter shade brown (light Oakwood).
Any suggestion ideas? thanks

Get a blue denim Duvet (comforter cover) I saw this some place and it looked soooo good. And they are really comfortable to sleep under.

I have a 7 foot round bed my grandma gave me but I can’t find a sheet set with bed skirt for it?
I would like to find a complete set with bedskirt and sheets, maybe comforters.
I am trying to buy a new bed set, but my favorite one(also on sale) only comes in a twin and full. I checked the dimensions but Im still not quite sure, because I dont want to buy it and it not fit. then not be able to return it. Please help! Thanks!

No, it isn’t hard at all. I have made many of them, my own, too. I often wear out the bottom sheet and the topsheet is like new, so I make them into fitted sheets.
If you have a ratty one, rip the seams and use it as a pattern. If not, look at how a fitted sheet is made for a regular bed and use that, fitting as you go. I have fitted them on the bed, wrong side out, using pins, and then sewn them together. They are really simple, just a few straight seams and your are good to go.

I recently bought a Chambray king sheetset. I love it. I am now thinking of curtain/drape ideas to complement the set. I am thinking of buying some cloth and making the drapes myself. Either single colour or 2 in wide stipes. Ideas please.

You need some sort of pattern with the solid sheets …. If you could find an olive (isn’t that the color of the sheets?) ticking, that would work, or a wide awning stripe …. Or, if you like the Shabby Chic look, a floral and/ plaid combo….

I got a twin size sheetset because there were no more twin XL. It says it fits pockets up to 14 inches deep. Is it going to be ok for my bed?

XL is a longer mattress so you may need longer sheets. Regular sheets will stretch though but they like to come off. Buy em online

about a week ago we had a little “incident” with his sheets and i told him i would buy him a new set. on xmas eve i realized i hadn’t gotten him again so i bought him a 600 thread count Egyptian sheetset with a $20 gift card. was this a lame xmas gift? we’ve been knowing each other for about 9yrs but this is the 1st year we’re exchanging gifts.
