I need to buy a set of sheets (queen sized) and can’t find a set at my usual online retailers (Doe, Mod Cloth, Urban Outfitters, etc.). I really hate going to places like Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, and definitely not Walmart. Does anyone have any suggestions? I also don’t want to buy from Ikea. I really like retro/indie style.

Overstock.com imports tons of stuff from india neat prints on usually all cotton fabric- looks a little hippiesh but if you look long enough you should find sheets there that arnt conventional.

I need a mattress protector that is like a fitted bed sheet but has a plastic layer under the cloth top. I need it to be quiet- not loud and plastic sounding or uncomfortable. I have a pet who sometimes pees on my bed and I have brand new mattress I need to protect. I am not sure what brand is best or where to buy it. I do not want to spend a ton of money on it. Any ideas?
The Mainstays I recently bought from Walmart have been great. They crinkle very little. I have a cat that pees on my futon occasionally & the mattress is fine.
Open the package to check that the one you’re getting is elasticized all the way around. Those are the best ones.
I bought two so I would have one to put on immediately after the mattress gets stripped.
